Has genuine claims in this race. GOLDEN SPRITZ (2) Faded to finish 5th last time at Bendigo. Happy to overlook that run and can find a nice position from the draw. Has early speed and positions nicely. Worth consideration. RUSSIAN FRONT (9) Fresh today. Showed some merit late when 4th last time at Sandown but will have to carry extra weight. Lachlan Neindorf and Andrea Leek demand respect when they team up. Likely to fill a place. COBBLESTONE WAY (4) Couldn't maintain the pace when 7th last time at Seymour. Has the speed to overcome the wide gate. One at a bit of odds.
